Salon client retention: a weekly routine

Retention means clients come back and attend another visit. A busy week does not show who stopped returning, so it needs its own short review.

1. Pull your completed visits

Export completed visits from your booking system. Booked or cancelled appointments are a different question.

2. Split new clients from regulars

A first-time client who has not returned needs a different message from a regular who has gone quiet.

3. Review five names a week

Check each against the current diary, contact preferences and recent complaints. Decide: contact, wait, or leave out.

4. Keep the record and the task together

Write down who you contacted, when, and what happens next. With RetentionTek you keep customer records and follow-up tasks together.

5. Check later visits, not replies

A reply is progress. A completed visit in a later export is the result.
